SECTION I- ALLOCATION: a). Lifetime designators are issued to individuals and Scout Troops, free of charge, in the order in which the applications are received. b). Each designator is comprised of three basic parts: PREFIX- our universal prefix of SWLR- BODY- the letter representing the Standard Time Zone where the SWL'er lives; plus the letter N or S for north or south of the Equator. SUFFIX- a three digit suffix assigned in consecutive order, starting at ØØ1 for each sector. Examples: SWLR-GNØØ1 may belong to a person living in An Thoi, Vietnam* or perhaps Bandkok, Thailand* SWLR-QS785 may belong to a person living in Argentina* or Bolivia, South America* SWLR-TN2Ø9 may belong to a person living in Alberta, Canada* or New Mexico, USA* * = per individual listings in the Sectors of the SWL-R Directory. c). Your personal SWLR designator can be used on Letterheads, QSL Cards, SWL Awards, and Email Signatures. d). Applications must be double-checked for accuracy prior to submitting. Please allow 24-48 hours to receive your new designator by email. SECTION II- DIRECTORY: a). You have the option NOT to be included in the online directory when applying, but still be assigned an official designator for your personal use. b). Each entry in the directory will be sorted according to the Standard Time Zones (A-Z) & (N/S of Equator) and will include: Your (SWLR-Callsign), (Full Name), (Location), and your (Email and a link to your website if you wish). SECTION III- CERTIFICATES: a). An Offical SWL-Registry Certificate is available for only $1.50 USD, via PayPal or printable order form. b). Certificates come in printable Adobe .PDF and Word.WRD files, and are emailed directly to you as attachments. Please allow 24-48 hours. c). SWL-Registry.com does not do any printing or regular mailing. d). Be sure to allow receipt of emails from registrar(@)swl-registry.com SECTION IV- DISCLAIMER: a). Your SWLR Designator does not in any way imply authorization to operate any transmitter of any kind. b). There are no age restrictions, however, youngsters should obtain a parent or guardian's approval and their help requesting a designator or ordering an official certificate. c). All sarcastic or malicious requests will be ignored; but duly noted! |
